"I’ve been doing Crossfit on and off for about 5 years and I found Crossfit to be beneficial to my career as a Firefighter/Paramedic. The constantly varied, high intensity, functional movements really applied to the organized chaos of a fire scene, as combining good physical conditioning with powerful strength goes a long way on a structure fire. My favorite movement is the deadlift, because you can really put on the weight and I feel like a monster afterwards."
